We have partnered with United Way of Lee, Hendry & Glades Counties (Florida) in a joint fund-raising campaign, and also a cancer screening program using their neighborhood houses at several locations around the area. See http://www.unitedwaylee.org/ for more information about the United Way.
Give Kids the World Village is a very special place where children with life-threatening illnesses can stay while visiting the Orlando area theme parks. The village is a 70-acre resort with a magical castle, water garden play area, Candyland themed garden, two pools, mini-golf course, and much more. The children and their families stay in villa-type accommodations are provided meals, tickets and transportation to the parks, entertainment and visits from the Disney characters, all at no charge to them.
